The Community Church

A community church may be described as a congregation in which denominational loyalties have been made subservient to the local religion program, in which toleration of religious opinion is couples with earnest faith in Jesus Christ and in which Christianity is thought of as involving a program of character building and community service. The Community Church is made up of all denominations; Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Catholic, Lutheran, etc. We belong to The International Council of Community Churches, a fellowship of churches bound to each other by a covenant of love, and committed to unity of the body of Christ.
