Min. Rose Marie Longus

Associate Minister/Minister of Prayer and Intercession

Minister Rose Longus was born in Summerton, SC. She moved to the Washington, DC area at the age of 16. At the age of 17, she was saved and received the Holy Ghost. Upon graduating from Cardoza High School, she attended the University of the District of Columbia, and took courses at National Bible College and Seminary, Ft. Washington, MD.

Rose retired from the Department of Defense at Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital in 2018.

For over forty years, Minister Rose was a faithful member of the NE Holy Trinity Church, Washington, DC, where she sang in the Holiness League Choir, and served as an Usher, and Treasurer of the Missionary Conference.

In 2008, God called Rose to the ministry, and she received her official ministerial license at the NE Holy Trinity Church. Minister Rose has preached at churches in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and South Carolina. In performing her ministerial duties, she receives weekly phone calls for prayer. Over the years, many people have called upon Rose, and she has petitioned God on their behalf.

She started attending services at the Craig Memorial Community Church and has been a member since 2018. She participates in weekly bible study classes, Sunday School, and Wednesday and Friday night prayer services. She is also a member of Outreach and Hospitality Ministries.

Rose’s favorite scripture is Psalm 24:8 “Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.”
